In ancient times, honey was considered a luxury item. It was a symbol of sweetness, devotion and longevity. Cleopatra moisturized and bathed in it, and the Greeks, Egyptians and Chinese each succumbed to its magical healing powers.
While I have always loved honey, it is only in recent years that I learned to include it as a staple in my daily skincare routine.
Why honey? As the founder of oOYes and Uh Huh Honey, I have discovered its healing qualities for use in health, skin and pussy care.
Edible Sex Play
While I will happily dig into honey’s medicinal qualities, let’s start with pleasure!
If, like me, you avoid the white powdery drugs, including sugar, then honey can fill the need for a decadent treat when you want something sweet to eat.
Any honey can make for a tantalizing treat but oOYes Bee Wild Tantric Honey is next level fun. oOYes beefused honey is packed with cannabinoids extracted by our happy bees. This single ingredient, raw honey can drop you into a euphoric place and get you high for edible sex play.
While sticky, there is nothing quite like honey to lick, drizzle and drip off each other’s body parts. Yes it is sticky but this just adds to the pleasure when licking it clean.
Tanya’s Tips: For your next date night, try skipping dessert and plan to drizzle and lick Bee Wild Tantric Honey from that "honey pot" or "disco stick". Worried it will be too sticky? All the more reason to lick it clean.
Honey for Your Honey Pot
Ancient and Eastern medicine have long understood honey’s use for vulva health. Its natural antimicrobial properties, its ability to balance pH levels, the potential to soothe inflammation, combat yeast and bacterial vaginosis (BV) have each been attributed to the healing power of honey.
Honey has estrogenic effects. It can mimic the actions of the hormone estrogen, thus helping to maintain the moisture and health of vaginal tissues. Relying on animal studies, honey’s ability to help prevent vaginal atrophy associated with menopause is also revealed.
How it Works:
Estrogenic Compounds: Honey contains flavonoids and phenolic acids which are thought to contribute to its estrogen-like activity.
Vaginal Dryness Relief: Research suggests that consuming and topical use of honey may help alleviate vaginal dryness experienced during menopause by maintaining vaginal tissue health.
Menopausal Relief: In addition to vaginal dryness, honey may also offer menopausal women antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Antimicrobial effects: Honey's naturally acidic pH and production of hydrogen peroxide create an environment that inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria commonly associated with vaginal infections.
Balancing pH: The slightly acidic nature of honey can help restore the natural acidic balance of the vulva, this is important for maintaining a healthy microbiome.
Anti-inflammatory properties: Honey is believed to have anti-inflammatory effects that can help soothe irritation and discomfort in the vaginal area.
While the use of honey for your honey pot might seem counterintuitive given its close connection to sugar, like so many things, with a closer look, the benefits quickly outweigh the myths and misconceptions.
Protect Your Largest Organ
Your skin is your largest organ. It protects your body from harmful substances and injuries, it helps maintain body temperature by sweating and shivering, it provides immune cells, antibodies, and produces Vitamin C when exposed to sunlight.
Your skin is a pathway to pleasure offering sensation for touch, pain, and temperature.
My Skincare Routine
I ditched all the expensive creams and skincare potions and could not be happier.
While the latest fads might lure you in, it is often the simplest, natural ingredients that are best. Before you splurge on salmon sperm, Korean tea, retinol, or the latest Instagram hype 'buyer beware', it is often a single, natural ingredient that will serve you best.
My morning skincare routine consists entirely of topical estradiol, applied to the thin skin under my eyes, neck, and vulva. After misting with TJ's Rose Water Spray, I dab honey on my face and neck using the rose water mist to help spread and dilute the otherwise sticky honey.
Hydration works from the inside out. Lemon water with a pinch of Celtic sea salt is a nice wake-up drink before pouring my first espresso and, if work corporates, heading to hot yoga where my pores open and skin sweats, dripping the sweet honey across my lips.
It just doesn't get any better than that!
My hot yoga practice is followed by a hot/cold shower. Post shower, a little organic jojoba oil, an optional dab of oOYes Love Me Too salve to lips, eyes and neck, some European sunscreen and I am ready for the day.
Tanya’s Tips: When it comes to skincare, keep it simple. Less is more. Build good routines that work from the inside out, unprocessed foods, less sugar, regular exercise and water are key to protecting your skin. Track what's working for you. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
BeeFused Technology
Time to blow your mind…
The magic of beefused honey comes from how it is made. This patented delivery system allows free range bees to feed on a proprietary hemp or THC-rich RSO cannabis nectar. The bees naturally break down the cannabinoids and digest them to create a super-bioavailable, water-soluble, single-ingredient raw honey that is fast-acting and rich in cannabinoids.

If you are wondering if our bees get high, they do not. Bees, unlike humans, do not have an endocannabinoid system. As a result they are able to digest cannabis without any psychoactive effects.
Understanding that not all cannabinoids are created equally, the nectar fed to our happy bees is rich in major and minor cannabinoids, terpenes, vitamins, and nutrients that each work together in raw super honey that captures the full entourage effect of its component parts and is far more effective than infused, isolated cannabinoids.
Due to the synergy between plant, insect, and human, an extremely minimal concentration of active cannabinoids are needed to achieve the desired effects in our cannabinoid-rich, raw honey.

Birds, Bees and Horny Humans
Needless to say, connecting honey and sex came easy for me. It’s not just me, while referring to “the birds & bees” may be a handy deflection for parents when asked “where do babies come from” I would like to think it has roots in pleasure.
Perhaps a stretch but if it helps to encourage oOrgasmic pleasure, why not?
While my focus is on helping horny humans have more and better sex, it was the hunt for the perfect edible sex play ingredients that lead me to our happy bees.
It is hard not to fall in love with the bees, they do so much for us. When building oOYes and Uh Huh Honey, I was captivated. For me, it was all about the bees.

In fact, the "beefused" tantric honey is a key ingredient that runs throughout all the oOYes and oOYesTHC cannagasmic line of lick-able lubes, elixirs, salve, massage oil candle, and sublingual tinctures.
Tanya’s Tips: If open to exploring cannabis and sex, remember to start slow and track what works for you. Especially for women, cannabis can help drop you in the moment, elevate the senses and help dial in pleasure.
Save the Bees
As a human doing my best to make a positive contribution in this world, I have undying respect for the bees, the work they do, and their invaluable offering to this planet.
Without bees, the world would struggle to sustain its 7 billion+ humans and their demands. Without bees, humans may not survive. The good news is they are happy making honey. It is our job to protect them.
To this end, we partnered with The Bee Conservancy to help create bee sanctuaries, habitats, and fund education about bees and their unique position in our ecosystem. To date, all profits from Uh Huh Honey and oOYes beefused products have gone to further the incredible work of The Bee Conservancy.
